Meeting of the Minister of Defense with the Turkish Ambassador to Yemen in Aden
Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, confirmed today that the Yemeni people will not compromise their freedom and dignity for those who claim the divine right to power and wealth.
This came during his meeting in the capital, Aden, with the Turkish Ambassador to Yemen, Mustafa Bolat, and his accompanying delegation, according to Saba Agency.
According to the agency, the Minister of Defense praised the bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, looking forward to enhancing joint cooperation, especially in the field of military and technical rehabilitation and training.
The Daari team pointed out the popular discontent and unrest in the areas controlled by the terrorist Houthi militias, rejecting the starvation, looting and levies imposed by the militias on citizens under various allegations and claims.
For his part, the Turkish ambassador noted the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing his country's support for Yemen and its leadership, looking forward to more joint cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in Yemen in light of the ongoing regional developments and the continued threat of international navigation and targeting of commercial ships by the terrorist Houthi militias.
