Meeting of the Minister of Justice with the Turkish Ambassador to Yemen in Aden
Yemeni Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Arda, stressed on Tuesday the necessity of activating the agreement concluded with the Turkish Justice Academy to prepare and qualify Yemeni judges and members of the Public Prosecution.
This came during his meeting on Tuesday in the interim capital, Aden, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Yemen, Mustafa Bolat, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation on issues of common interest between the two countries in the judicial field.
According to Saba News Agency, Al-Arda stressed the importance of exchanging expertise between the two countries, as well as benefiting from the Turkish experience in the field of judicial services provided and enhancing the knowledge of judicial cadres.
The Minister Al-Arada praised Türkiye's position and efforts in supporting the government and humanitarian and relief work.
Al-Arda expressed his aspiration to complete the procedures for ratifying the agreement on judicial cooperation in civil, commercial and criminal matters, in accordance with Resolution No. 5 of 2014, which our country ratified.
In turn, the Turkish ambassador expressed his country's readiness to provide assistance to overcome the challenges facing Yemen and to work to support the judiciary.
