The Yemeni Ministry of Interior renewed its warning on Friday against accepting or dealing with passports issued by the terrorist Houthi militias, considering them illegal.
The ministry said in a statement that the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Authority had warned against accepting or dealing with passports issued by the Houthi terrorist militia, considering them illegal and not representing the Republic of Yemen.
The statement added that the Ministry of Interior holds anyone who accepts and deals with it responsible for the legal consequences and criminal, destructive and terrorist acts it may result in, as it was issued by a terrorist militia.
He explained that the Houthi militias are trying, through (passports), to export terrorist elements to the world, by sending those unknown elements that they gather from different parts of the world to areas under their control and granting them Yemeni citizenship through those illegal passports.
The statement indicated that the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Authority issued 95,794 passports during the past month of July in all branches of the Authority in the liberated governorates and foreign missions.
