Today, in the temporary capital, Aden, the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components was announced, which includes 21 political parties and components, in the presence of Prime Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak and a number of diplomats present in Aden.
The announcement statement, read by Abdul Razzaq Al-Hijri - the Islah Party representative in the bloc - indicated that the political parties and components held a series of consultative meetings to evaluate their political role and what is required of them as forces supporting legitimacy and carrying the national project and as an integral part of the political system and constitutional and consensual legitimacy.
Al-Hajri explained that the consultations culminated in an agreement to form a national political bloc called the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components, and to approve the organisational regulations of the bloc, which, along with this announcement, are considered the founding documents of the bloc.
He announced that it was agreed that the presidency of the bloc in its first session would be for the General People's Congress, and the Congress named Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher as the head of the Supreme Council of the bloc in this session.
According to the announcement, the bloc is committed to the constitution and laws in force, the references agreed upon nationally, regionally and internationally, political pluralism and the peaceful transfer of power, justice and equal citizenship, in addition to consensus, partnership, transparency and tolerance.
The bloc also sets a political program to achieve a number of goals, including restoring the state, unifying national forces to confront the rebellion, ending the coup, resolving the southern issue as a major issue and key to addressing national issues, setting a special framework for it in the final political solution, and agreeing on a common vision for the peace process.
The bloc's program also includes supporting the state authorities to unify their decision and extend their influence over all national territory, supporting the government in its economic program to provide services and alleviate the suffering of citizens, and the return of all state institutions to work from the temporary capital, Aden.
The announcement stressed that the main motive of this bloc is to strengthen the national alignment in order to end the Houthi militia coup and restore the state, and that it is not directed against any of the political partners.
At the end of the statement, the bloc praised the sacrifices of the national army and the popular resistance, and called on all citizens to unite and stand together to support the legitimate institutions and national forces to restore the state and achieve peace and stability.

Sensing the national responsibility of the political parties and components towards the political, economic, social and security conditions that our country is experiencing, most notably the dead end of the political solution horizon and the worsening suffering of citizens in all governorates, due to the collapse of state institutions and the widening repercussions of the war caused by the Houthi militia coup, which entered its tenth year, then the shortcomings, mistakes and differences in interests and visions that accompanied the work of legitimacy and the political forces supporting it, which require serious treatment, and realizing the necessity of national unity to confront these challenges and achieve the comprehensive goal of restoring the state and ending the coup, the political parties and components held a series of consultative meetings to evaluate their political role and what is required of them as forces supporting legitimacy and carrying the national project and as an integral part of the political system and constitutional and consensual legitimacy.
- Resuming political life in all governorates of the Republic, and rejecting the imposition of political projects and visions through violence.

Sixth: This bloc is considered an extension of the formulas of partnership, consensus and efforts to unite ranks, which began with the national alignment to confront the coup in 2014, then the convening of the first Riyadh Conference in 2015, which included broad political and social forces, and what emerged from it in the formation of the National Advisory Body, followed by the formation of the National Alliance of Political Parties and Forces, which was announced in the city of Sayoun in 2019, then the Riyadh Agreement and the formation of the political partnership government in 2020, reaching the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations that were held under the auspices of the Gulf Cooperation Council in April 2022, which resulted in the announcement of the transfer of power and the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and its supporting bodies.
Seventh: The bloc affirms that its primary motive is to strengthen national alignment in order to end the Houthi militia coup and restore the state, and that it is not directed against any of the political partners.
Eighth: The National Bloc of Political Parties and Components is a voluntary bloc established by national will and in response to calls from political forces to create a broad alliance that includes all components supporting legitimacy to align with the Presidential Leadership Council and unify their positions around a national rescue program based on what was included in the declaration of the transfer of power and determines the unifying priorities of all political projects of the components, foremost of which is ending the coup and restoring the state. It is an open bloc to all political forces wishing to join it in accordance with the foundations and objectives on which it was founded.
Ninth: The bloc affirms that it will give priority in its programs and activities to the economic and living aspects of citizens and calls on the government to take measures to limit the collapse of the national currency, address the economic deterioration, and reconsider the wage scale for civil and military state employees and the families of martyrs and the wounded in all governorates.
Tenth: The bloc affirms the principled and firm position of the Yemeni people in support of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state, and it also condemns the crimes of the Zionist occupation in Gaza and Lebanon.
Eleventh: The bloc salutes the sacrifices of the national army and the popular resistance and calls on the masses of our people to further solidarity and alignment, and to rally around the institutions of legitimacy and the national forces carrying the banner of struggle to restore the state, end the coup of the Houthi militias, and achieve peace, security, stability, and development. The National Bloc of Political Parties and Forces considers itself a step in this struggle alongside all national forces.
