The National Bloc of Political Parties holds its first meeting in the interim capital, Aden

The Chairman of the Shura Council and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components, Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher, chaired the first meeting of the bloc, in the presence of representatives of various political parties and components.

Dr. Bin Dagher began the session with a welcoming speech in which he thanked the attendees for their efforts in establishing the bloc and their role in supporting national legitimacy, expressing his gratitude to the brothers and friends for their political support and their affirmation of their support for Yemeni legitimacy in various forums.

The meeting addressed a number of vital issues, most notably the deteriorating economic situation in the country and its direct impact on the lives of citizens, in addition to the deterioration of the level of basic services, which has increased the suffering of the Yemeni people. It was agreed on the need for rapid action to find urgent solutions to these challenges.

The attendees stressed the importance of enhancing communication with political forces with the aim of building a unified national front that seeks to achieve national aspirations.

The meeting discussed the organisational situation of the bloc, the arrangement of its various bodies and the establishment of its branches in the governorates, deciding to develop mechanisms for this to be presented at its next meeting.

The day before yesterday, the announcement of the National Bloc of 22 political parties and components was announced in the temporary capital, Aden, in a step aimed at unifying the national ranks and working together to restore the state and end the Houthi militia coup.
