Yemen Shabab Net - Exclusive
Yesterday evening, Wednesday, the program “From the Other with Dobla” on Yemen Shabab Channel revealed the visit of an official in the government economic file to Sanaa, which is subject to the terrorist Houthi militia.
The presenter of the media program, Abdullah Dobla, quoted a private source as saying that Othman Al-Haddi; Deputy Head of the Economic Team, left from Jeddah Airport in Saudi Arabia directly to Sanaa Airport, before Eid al-Adha, and is still in Sanaa until today.
Al-Haddi's visit to Sanaa came at the request of the Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber, to discuss some economic issues with the Houthi militias.
The source confirmed that Al-Haddi did not inform the Presidential Leadership Council or the government of his visit to Sanaa, and when he was contacted by the Presidential Council, he said that he was on a private visit to his relatives in Sanaa.
Al-Hadi is one of the most prominent officials currently in the economic file, as he holds the position of Vice-Chairman of the Economic Team, which is the team that was formed within the decision to transfer power and form the Presidential Council in April 2022.
A simultaneous round of negotiations was scheduled to be held in Muscat on the economic file and the file of prisoners and detainees, but it was decided to postpone the negotiations on the economic file to make way for the completion of discussions in Sanaa, especially since Al-Haddi is still present there today, according to the source.
