Aden is plunged into darkness
The directorates of the temporary capital, Aden, in southern Yemen, are witnessing total darkness tonight, as a result of the power stations going out of service without any explanation from the General Electricity Corporation about the reason for the outage.
A citizen living in the Directorate of Seera told "Yemeni Youth Net" that the electricity went out in his house at two o'clock in the afternoon and did not return until the last hour of Monday evening.
Local sources reported that the President's "Petro Masila" station and the diesel station went out of service, leaving only the Al-Haswa and Al-Mansoura stations, in light of the increasing increase in the hours of outage to more than 8 hours compared to two hours of operation.
Sources reported that the institution says that the blackout was due to the fuel running out and the merchant’s refusal to provide it with the required supplies, as a result of the debt not being paid, but the institution has not issued an official clarification until the time of writing this news.
