Yemen Youth Net - Special
The terrorist Houthi militia recently imposed new taxes on the Yemeni people in the name of the "Judicial Support Resources Fund" as part of its campaign to reshape state institutions in the areas under its control in northern Yemen in accordance with its sectarian interests.
"Yemeni Youth Net" obtained a copy of a decision issued by the head of the so-called Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, a few days ago, which stipulated the reorganization of the tasks and objectives of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in the internationally unrecognized Houthi government, and in which the Judicial Support Resources Fund was mentioned.
The Houthi decision to impose the dose stipulated that the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights would collect and disburse the resources of the Judicial Support Fund.
The Houthi militias have not previously publicly announced the establishment of this fund, nor its resources, nor did they mention in their leaked decision the redesign of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and the resources allocated to the fund.
Over the past years, the Houthis have established dozens of funds without publishing them in the official gazette, which extract hundreds of billions of riyals annually from the Yemeni people’s money, the most famous of which is the Teacher Support Fund, without paying any salaries to teachers so far from the fund’s money, as this money goes to the militia’s leaders.
