The Houthi campaign that targeted the citizen in Amran
Eight members of the Houthi coup militia were killed and wounded by a resident's weapon in the "Sawir" district of Amran Governorate while confronting a Houthi campaign that attempted to kidnap him from the center of the mosque during Friday prayers.
A human rights source said that citizen Hammoud Abu Saeed confronted dozens of Houthi elements who stormed the mosque during Friday prayers, which led to the outbreak of clashes between the two sides, according to the Capital Human Rights Center.
According to the source, four Houthis were killed and four others were injured before Abu Saeed was killed. A woman was also killed and three others were injured as a result of the Houthis firing randomly outside the mosque.
The incident aroused the anger of the residents, who gathered with their weapons and forced the Houthi elements to withdraw. The residents held the Suwayr security director and his deputy fully responsible for the events that took place in the area.
