A young man died in a fire accident in Far' Al-Udayn District, west of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).
Local sources said that the young man (Moataz Ahmed Qahtan) died on Tuesday in a fire that broke out in their home in Bani Ahmed district in Fara Al-Udayn district.
The sources added that a fire broke out in the house and spread due to the presence of a "gas can", and while the young man "Moataz" was trying to save his family members, he sustained serious injuries and died as a result.
During the recent months and years, several Yemeni governorates have witnessed similar fire incidents as a result of storing oil derivatives in homes due to successive crises, and these incidents have resulted in the death and injury of dozens.
