Today, Thursday, the Houthi militia kidnapped a media activist for filming him while he was passing on a road in Ibb Governorate, in the center of the country.

Local sources reported that the Houthi militia kidnapped activist Salah Al-Zawqari while he was broadcasting live on his social media page while filming himself in a car he was in, on the Redan Road (the house of Aloun Al-Shuraihin) in Ibb.

Activists on social media circulated a video clip of the young man Al-Zuqari being kidnapped while filming at a Houthi checkpoint.

The Houthi militia has recently escalated its kidnapping campaign against activists and media professionals, whom it considers spies and fabricates malicious charges against them.

The leader of the Houthi militia had incited against journalists and media professionals, and considered them no less dangerous than the fighters in the field, according to his claim.
