Al Mahwit: Death of an entire family of six people, due to the collapse of their house due to the rain

An entire family of 6 people died at dawn on Friday, when their house collapsed due to continued rainfall in one of the towns of Al Mahwit Governorate (northwest of Yemen).

Local and health sources said that the roof of a popular house collapsed on its residents in the village of Shamsan, in the Jaba’ district of Al-Khawbt district in Al-Mahwit governorate, due to the continued rainfall, which led to the death of all members of the family of six.

The sources added that the victims included citizen Hassan Al-Daroubi, his wife, and four of his children.

She pointed out that the residents and medical teams rushed to the scene after the house collapsed, but they were unable to save the family, who died immediately.

Yemen has been witnessing a rainy wave for weeks, which has killed dozens and caused significant damage to infrastructure and property.
