A young man ends his life in one of the towns of Ibb Governorate

A young man committed suicide in a town in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), amid increasing suicide incidents in the governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.

Local sources said that yesterday, a young man committed suicide by hanging himself in Al-Makhader District, north of Ibb.

Sources suggested that living conditions were the motive behind the incident, which came a few days after a similar incident in the same directorate.

Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, is witnessing a frightening increase in suicide crimes, in light of the difficult living and economic conditions experienced by citizens as a result of the war that the militia has ignited for ten years, causing the worst humanitarian disaster in the world.
