Women's march in Taiz
On Tuesday, the city of Taiz witnessed a massive women's march denouncing the continued crimes of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip.
Hundreds of Taiz women gathered in the city centre, in response to the call of the Popular Committee for Supporting Palestinian Issues.
The demonstrators denounced the escalation of genocide crimes committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and the American complicity in the occupation’s failure of the negotiations to stop the war, calling for it to stop.
The participants chanted slogans including: “In Gaza there is genocide”, “Where are the rulers, where are the leaders”, “Oh Saraya, oh Qassam, destroy the den of crime”, “Where are human rights, you who are more deceitful than Satan”, “From Taiz, greetings to our proud West Bank”.
The demonstrators raised banners denouncing the Arab silence and the ongoing crimes in Gaza, including: “Arab inaction serves Zionism and serves the climbers,” “Palestine is the nation’s first cause,” “The nation’s duty is to support Palestine with all its capabilities,” and “Zionism is a dagger in the heart of the nation.”
