A Houthi leader was killed by a citizen inside Al-Rawdah prison in Sana'a

A Houthi military leader was killed by a citizen on Monday after he stormed a prison under the control of the Houthi militia in the capital, Sanaa.

According to local sources, a helpless citizen stormed Al Rawdah prison in Sana'a and killed his rival, Abdullah Al Hassani, who was impersonating the assistant commander of the Central Security, before he was arrested.

The sources did not mention the reasons that prompted the perpetrator to kill his Houthi rival, but sources stated that the matter may have been related to the Houthi leader smuggling Houthi prisoners out of prison in cases related to the perpetrator.

This comes in light of the increasing severity of Houthi violations against citizens in areas under their control, and the continued deterioration of the citizens' living conditions, in an unprecedented manner.
