A civilian was killed and another was injured in a landmine explosion left by the terrorist Houthi militia in a town south of Hodeidah (western Yemen).

Local observers said that a civilian in his early forties was killed, and another, 39 years old, was injured with shrapnel in various parts of his body, yesterday, Tuesday, when a mine planted by the Houthi militia exploded in the village of Bani Malikid, in the far south of Al-Jabaliyah in At-Tuhayta District, south of Hodeidah.

The sources explained that the victims were returning to their homes on a motorcycle from the Jabaliya market, when the mine exploded.

Al Hudaydah Governorate is one of the Yemeni governorates most contaminated with Houthi mines, whose incidents have killed and injured hundreds of civilians in the governorate in recent years.
