Ibb.. Three brothers from the “Makabs” family were killed in a dispute over land in Al-Sayyani District

Three brothers were killed today, Tuesday, as a result of an armed conflict over agricultural land in a town in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).

Media sources said that three brothers from the Makabes family were killed after an armed conflict broke out between them following a dispute over qat farms on disputed lands, in the village of Rabat in the Al-Hadis district of Al-Sayyani District, south of the city of Ibb.

The sources indicated that the fourth brother, who was present during the conflict and is a main suspect in the crime, fled to an unknown destination.

The sources indicated the names of the victims: (Fahd Saeed Muhammad Makabes, Mohsen Saeed Muhammad Makabes, and Fadel Saeed Muhammad Makabes).

Citizens held the Houthi militia authorities responsible for the growing family conflicts due to the failure to decide disputed cases and the resulting murders, a phenomenon that threatens the security and tranquility of society.
