The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Monday evening the killing and wounding of Israeli soldiers in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam said in a statement that its fighters were able, “on Monday morning, to target a Zionist infantry force that had taken refuge inside a house with RPG and tandem missiles.”

She added, "Members of that force were killed and wounded near Al-Yaman Al-Saeed Hospital, in the middle of Jabalia camp."

In another statement, Al-Qassam said that its fighters bombed “enemy forces stationed east of the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City with mortar shells.”

Since the beginning of the war, 780 Israeli officers and soldiers have been killed in Gaza, in Lebanon and near its borders, including 368 since the beginning of the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip on October 27, 2023.

While 5,261 Israeli officers and soldiers have been injured since the beginning of the war, including 2,394 since the invasion of the Gaza Strip.

According to observers, Israel is concealing the human and material losses resulting from its war on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, and is preventing photography and the circulation of photos and video clips, and is warning against providing information to the media in this regard, except through parties subject to its strict supervision.

Israel, with American support, has been waging a war of genocide on Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in more than 145,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and elderly people, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

For decades, Israel has occupied Arab lands in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, and rejects the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders before the 1967 war with East Jerusalem as its capital.
