On the 409th day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, 46 Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling since dawn on Monday, 30 of them in the northern Gaza Strip, while the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that its fighters had sniped 5 Israeli soldiers in the al-Jawani area in the center of Beit Lahia.

Al Jazeera quoted its correspondent as saying that 17 martyrs were killed in an Israeli raid on a house near Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. The number of martyrs killed in Israeli raids on several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today has risen to 29. Seven martyrs and a number of wounded were also killed in an Israeli bombardment of a house in the vicinity of Al-Jalaa Street, west of Gaza City.

The Palestinian Civil Defense Service reported in a statement that 4 Palestinians, including two children, were killed and others were injured when an Israeli aircraft targeted a tent housing displaced people in the Al-Attar area in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, which Israel claims is a "safe humanitarian" area.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that Israeli aircraft bombed a tent in the coastal Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, burning it and a number of surrounding tents.

Palestinian media reported that the occupation artillery also shelled the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, in the central Gaza Strip. The occupation also targeted the northern and western areas of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, with intensive artillery shelling, in addition to targeting the city center with air strikes.

This comes as the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the occupation committed 4 massacres in the Strip, resulting in 76 martyrs and 158 wounded arriving at hospitals within 24 hours, bringing the number of victims of the Israeli aggression to 43,922 martyrs and 103,898 wounded since October 7, 2023.

Yesterday, Sunday, more than 111 Palestinians were martyred as a result of a series of massacres committed by the occupation army, most of them in the northern Gaza Strip. Yesterday, the occupation committed 4 massacres in Beit Lahia alone, where it bombed residential buildings and civilian homes, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 72 martyrs from the families of Ghabayen, Ghneim, Safi, Ayada, Abd al-Ati and al-Taluli, according to the government media office in Gaza.

The office added - in a statement - that the occupation "committed two massacres in the Nuseirat and Bureij camps by bombing civilian homes, and 24 people from the Abu Armana, Saidam, Aql, Al-Masri, Al-Hamlawi and Ummum families were martyred as a result of the two massacres."

The statement stressed that the occupation army "knew that these homes and residential buildings contained dozens of displaced civilians, most of whom were children and women who had been displaced from their civilian residential neighborhoods, and who were pursued by aircraft with tons of missiles."

Scan entire families

Meanwhile, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, Hussam Abu Safiya, said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army had wiped out entire Palestinian families and had been targeting the hospital intensively, describing the scene as "a martyr bidding farewell to a martyr."

This came in press statements by Abu Safiya, coinciding with the escalation of the Israeli genocide in the northern Gaza Strip for 45 days, causing more than 2,000 Palestinian deaths and more than 6,000 wounded, and massive destruction of residential buildings. Abu Safiya said: "With the escalation of the Israeli genocide that wiped out entire families, we are now faced with the scene of a martyr bidding farewell to another martyr."

Amid the sounds of Israeli shelling, Abu Safiya called for the hospital to be protected from the “shelling that has become a constant occurrence,” noting that the Israeli army “a short while ago violently shelled the hospital’s emergency department, which led to the suspension of work due to the scattering of shrapnel, and created a state of panic among patients and the wounded.”

The health official described the targeting of the hospital as "a crime against the health system, and the world must stop it immediately, because we are dealing with the injured and wounded amidst the Israeli bombing that targets us from every direction."

He also called on "the world to stop the Israeli killing machine and put an immediate end to targeting the hospital, which is supposed to have international protection," adding: "We just held a funeral for some of the martyrs, as a house next to the hospital belonging to the family of Dr. Hani Badran was targeted, and everyone in the house was martyred."

Occupation losses

On the ground, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters had sniped 5 Israeli soldiers in the al-Jawani area in the center of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Data from the Israeli occupation army showed, on Monday, that 5 Israeli soldiers were injured in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

According to the Israeli army website, which Anadolu Agency has seen, the number of wounded soldiers in Gaza, Lebanon and the West Bank since the beginning of the war has reached 5,370, up from 5,365 on Sunday.

This means that 5 soldiers were injured in the past 24 hours. The data indicates that 2,440 soldiers were injured in the ground battles in Gaza since October 27, up from 2,435 on Sunday, meaning that the five soldiers were injured in Gaza. The number of soldiers killed is 798, including 376 in the ground battles in Gaza.

On Sunday evening, the Israeli army announced the death of two soldiers in its ranks, one of whom was a company commander, during battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been waging a war of genocide on Gaza, in which more than 147,000 Palestinians have been killed and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 have gone missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
