Today, Thursday, the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Ahmed Ahmed Ghalib, issued a decision to suspend the licenses of a number of violating exchange companies and establishments.
The decision included stopping: “Al-Ammari Exchange Company, Al-Qasimi International Exchange Company, Al-Amoudi Exchange Facility, Abdul Salam Al-Muflhi Exchange Facility, Al-Shawahi Exchange Facility, and Al-Khamri Exchange Facility.”
He pointed out that the decision was based on the violations proven in the field investigation report submitted by the Banking Supervision Sector and as required by the public interest.
