Rocket attack targets Tel Aviv, causing injuries, some serious

Israeli media reported on Monday that a missile attack targeted Greater Tel Aviv, including an area near a shopping mall in eastern Tel Aviv, while medical sources confirmed that 5 injuries occurred, one of them seriously.
The same sources said that 4 explosions were heard in Greater Tel Aviv, while the Israeli ambulance said that 5 people were injured, one of them seriously, in the missile attack on Tel Aviv.
Israeli media reported hearing sirens in Tel Aviv and power outages in some areas, amid reports of the closure of Ben Gurion Airport.
The Israeli army reported that its defenses intercepted a missile that penetrated airspace from Lebanon and detected the fall of an object likely caused by shrapnel from the interception. The ambulance also announced that it was dealing with 4 injuries in Ramat Gan in Tel Aviv who were injured by shrapnel from a missile.

For its part, Channel 12 said that air defenses failed to intercept a ballistic missile launched from Lebanon that fell in Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv, and that the army monitored the launch of 170 missiles from Lebanon towards Israel today.
For its part, the Israeli Home Front Command said that sirens were sounding in Greater Tel Aviv and more than 100 other towns and cities, including the bay of the city of Haifa, north of Tel Aviv.

For its part, the Israeli occupation army said that it had detected 30 rockets launched from Lebanon towards Nahariya and towns in the Western Galilee, northern Israel.
