Israeli killed, another injured in Jordan Valley shooting

An Israeli was killed and another was moderately injured on Sunday in a drive-by shooting near the settlement of Mehola in the Jordan Valley, east of the occupied West Bank, according to Hebrew media.
The official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said, "An Israeli was killed and another was moderately wounded as a result of gunfire from a car near the Mehola Junction in the Jordan Valley."
The Israeli Army Radio said that the shooters' car is currently being pursued near the settlement of Mehola in the Jordan Valley.
Israeli media reported that the Israeli army sent military reinforcements to the site of the shooting.
The Israeli army said that its forces began pursuing the perpetrators of the shooting and are conducting extensive search and combing operations in the area, noting that gunmen opened fire on several vehicles near Muhalla in the Jordan Valley region.

The occupation forces stormed the villages of Kardala and Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley after the shooting attack near the Mehola settlement.
For its part, Israeli Channel 13 reported that the shooting targeted two cars on Route 90 near the Mehola settlement.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that the shooting took place in two locations in the Jordan Valley.
