Liverpool beat Brentford 2-0 on Sunday evening in the second round of the English Premier League.
Colombian Luis Diaz scored Liverpool's first goal in the 13th minute, then Egyptian star Mohamed Salah added the second in the 70th minute, to achieve the Reds' second consecutive victory and the first at Anfield in the new season.
In a previous match, Chelsea achieved a big victory over its host Wolverhampton 6-2.
Nicolas Jackson (2), Cole Palmer (45), Noni Madueke (49, 58, 63) and Portuguese Joao Felix (80) scored for the Blues, while Matheus Cunha (27) and Jorgen Strand Larsen (45+6) scored for Wolverhampton.
