A 1-1 draw decided the London derby between Chelsea and its guest Arsenal on Sunday in the eleventh round of the English Premier League.
Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli gave Arsenal the lead in the 60th minute, before Portuguese Pedro Neto equalised for Chelsea in the 70th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area.
Arsenal, the runner-up in the last two seasons, settled for one point in fourth place, on goal difference from third-placed Chelsea, and 9 points behind leaders Liverpool.
The Gunners were unable to achieve their first win this month, after two losses against Newcastle in the league and Inter Milan in the Champions League.

The title race this season looks tougher, with Liverpool having a successful start under Dutch coach Arne Slot, who has only dropped five points in 11 games, five points ahead of defending champions Manchester City.
Manchester United achieve a deserved victory over Leicester
Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy successfully completed his temporary mission as Manchester United coach, leading them to a 3-0 victory over their guest Leicester City.
The three goals were scored by Portuguese Bruno Fernandes (17), Danish Victor Christiansen (38 own goal) and Argentine substitute Alejandro Garnacho (82).
United raised their score to 15 points, but remained in thirteenth place, while Leicester suffered their third defeat in the last four matches in various competitions, and their score froze at 10 points in fifteenth place.
Former Red Devils striker Van Nistelrooy took over temporarily after the team lost 2-1 to West Ham, which led to the dismissal of his compatriot Erik ten Hag.
United achieved three wins under the interim coach, in addition to one draw in various competitions, after having only won one in eight consecutive matches.
Amorim, the former Sporting coach, will take over after the club signed him until 2027, making him the sixth permanent coach since the retirement of Scotsman "Sir" Alex Ferguson in 2013.
It did not take long for United to open the scoring, when Diallo backheeled the ball to Fernandes, who shot it beautifully to the far left of the goal (17).
Nigerian Wilfred Ndidi wasted a chance to equalize when he received the ball inside the penalty area, but he shot it in a wrong and easy way into the hands of Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana (28).
United took the lead with a second goal after a cross from the left side by Fernandes, which Christiansen failed to clear and put into the net (41).
The two teams did not offer much in the second half, except for a chance for Ghanaian Jordan Ayew that went wide of the post (69).
Substitute Garnacho sealed the win when he received a pass from Fernandes, the star of the match, and shot brilliantly to the right of Danish goalkeeper Mads Hermansen (82).

The guests took the lead first through Irishman Sammy Smodics (31), then Liam Delap (43), before Uruguayan Rodrigo Bentancur reduced the difference (69).
Ipswich achieved their first victory in the championship, raising their score to eight points, to finally move out of the relegation zone to seventeenth.
In contrast, Tottenham's balance froze at 16 points in tenth place.
Newcastle beat host Nottingham Forest 3-1, achieving their third consecutive victory in various competitions.
Swede Alexander Isak (54), Brazilian Joelinton (72) and Harvey Barnes (83) scored for Newcastle, and Brazilian Murilo (21) scored for Forest.
