The Yemeni youth team wins over its Omani counterpart by three goals to one

The Yemeni youth national team defeated its Omani counterpart, 3-1, today, Thursday, at King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Taif, in the second round of the group stage of the West Asian Youth Championship.

The tournament will be held in the city of Taif, Saudi Arabia, from June 25 to July 5, with the participation of 12 teams.

The Yemen national team took the lead in the sixth minute through Abdulaziz Al-Masnoum, before Oman equalized in the ninth minute through Ghassan Al-Masrouri.

The Yemeni team returned to the lead again through Issam Radman from a penalty kick, ending the first half with Oman trailing 1-2.

In the 66th minute, player Abdulaziz Al-Masnoum succeeded in scoring the third goal for the Yemeni team.

Yemen's score rose to 4 points at the top of the group, while the Omani team's score froze at 3 points.
