With 9 points, Yemen qualifies for the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup

The Yemeni youth team qualified for the 2025 Asian Cup finals, which will be held in China, after its valuable 1-1 draw with Indonesia, during the match held in Jakarta, as part of the tournament qualifiers, today, Sunday.
The Yemeni national team snatched the equaliser through Abdulrahman Al-Khader in stoppage time of the first half, after falling behind two minutes earlier through Jonas Raven.
Yemen's score rose to 7 points, ranking second in Group 6, which included Indonesia, East Timor and the Maldives.
The Yemeni national team qualified for the Asian Youth Cup finals, among the best teams that came in second place, along with Indonesia, which qualified after topping the group with 7 points as well.
45 teams from East and West Asia participated in the qualifiers, and were divided into 10 groups, with 5 groups comprising 4 teams, while 5 groups consisted of 5 teams.
The Iraqi national team also qualified for the Asian Youth Cup finals by topping Group 8 with 9 points from 3 wins, 3 points ahead of its pursuer, Thailand (6).
