The terrorist Houthi militia continued its frenzied campaign against those celebrating the 62nd anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution, in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).

Local sources and relatives of the kidnapped told "Yemeni Youth Net" that the terrorist Houthi militia carried out extensive kidnapping campaigns on Friday morning and yesterday, Thursday, targeting dozens of people in a number of districts of Ibb Governorate, against the backdrop of their celebration of the glorious September Revolution.

The sources reported that the Houthi militia carried out raids on homes that launched fireworks in the city of Ibb and some of its districts, and kidnapped celebrants, including children under the age of ten.

The militia also stopped children and women carrying national flags in their cars on the city streets and took them to its security facilities for investigation.

According to sources, the Houthi militia has kidnapped more than 150 people in the city of Ibb and a number of the governorate’s districts since Wednesday evening, most of whom are young men and boys under the age of eighteen.

The sources confirmed that the militia kidnapped (Thursday) four children near Jaran market in the city of Ibb, because they chanted (With our souls and blood we will redeem you, Yemen), and they also kidnapped others in the city because they raised the national flags, including (Ayham Saddam Al-Haddad, Shadi Al-Salihi, Abdul Rahman Al-Badani, Muhammad Nazim Al-Badani, Abdul Wahid Al-Qadi, Luay Numan Rajih, Omar Al-Barq, and Muhammad Najib).

The kidnappings of children included a group of children from the Al-Shabibi family who were on a bus on the ring road in the city of Ibb, holding national flags. They were intercepted by a Houthi vehicle and taken to a police station. Houthi elements also intercepted cars with women and children on Route 16 west of the city of Ibb, and took them to a security facility affiliated with them for the same reasons.

In Jablah District (southwest), the Houthi militia launched a kidnapping campaign that is still ongoing until now, which included dozens. According to sources, among the kidnapped are (Khaled Nabil Al-Wahid - 13 years old, Saddam Mutia Ali - 12 years old, and Muhammad Mutia Ali - 14 years old) from the village of Al-Haithjah in Jablah District, and three others from the village of Al-Awaridh in the same district.

In Baadan District (east), the Houthi militia kidnapped dozens of people on the occasion of the celebrations, including eight people from the Al-Dais district, and threw them into its prisons in the district, according to the sources.

The kidnappings also included the neighboring Ibb countryside directorate, where sources indicate that the militia kidnapped 18 people, including 3 "notables" and dignitaries, from the Rayman and Al-Maqaten districts, against the backdrop of the celebrations of the revolution anniversary.

In the same directorate, Al-Houthi militia kidnapped 6 teachers from the Imam Al-Bukhari Complex in the Al-Yahari area, after the students prepared a school radio broadcast about the September Revolution.

In Al-Sayani District (south), the Houthi militia stormed a wedding of a young man in the Damnat Nakhalan area, and kidnapped a number of young men who were dancing the Bar’a dance to the tune of a patriotic song. They also kidnapped others in the same area on the occasion of the September Revolution celebrations, including (Mohammed Adam Al-Hindi and Khair Allah Hashim Al-Hindi).

The kidnappings included various directorates, and information indicates that the kidnapped were in the dozens. We were unable to obtain additional information about them immediately.

It is noteworthy that the people of Ibb Governorate, in the governorate center and its directorates, had defied the repressive measures practiced by the Houthi militia against them and celebrated from the roofs of their homes and from the heights by lighting the flame of the September Revolution and launching fireworks in celebration of it, and documented that on social media.
