The family of the kidnapped Major Ali Abdullah Ashal Al-Jaadani said that "the body that the security forces are searching for in one of the yards surrounding the city of Inmaa (Aden) is not that of their kidnapped son," stressing that "the matter is related to another criminal case."

She explained in a statement on social media that "the aforementioned search operation ended without finding a body," noting that "searching for a body anywhere does not necessarily mean that it belongs to Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal."

In this regard, she called on "the media and activists on social media to take into account the feelings of the families of the forcibly disappeared and to investigate carefully before publishing any unconfirmed news."

This comes after news circulated that the security services in Aden were searching for a body in the city of Enma in Aden, and activists claimed that it belonged to the family of the kidnapped "Ali Ashal".

Ashal was kidnapped by gunmen in the city of Aden two months ago, and he has not been found yet amidst the exchange of accusations between the military formations in Aden.
