Hadramout.. Security forces arrest an activist based on a report from "Al-Bahsani" on the background of publishing cases

Last night, security forces arrested activist Al-Waleed bin Shamlan Al-Tamimi and transferred him to the Criminal Investigation Department in the city of Al-Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut Governorate (eastern Yemen), on charges of publishing.

A relative of activist Al-Tamimi told "Yemeni Youth Net" that security forces arrested activist Al-Tamimi at a checkpoint near the Balfaqih Cultural Center in the city of Mukalla, and transferred him to the Criminal Investigation Department and confiscated his personal phone.

He added that the kidnapping of activist Al-Tamimi came as a result of a report from the former governor of Hadhramaut and member of the Presidential Council, Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, against the backdrop of previous publications on his Facebook page.

He pointed out that Al-Tamimi had previously been summoned by the Financial Prosecution, based on a previous report by Al-Bahsani, on the background of criticizing his mistakes when he was governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, but he did not attend due to his absence from Al-Mukalla.

At the beginning of this October, security forces in Aden arrested journalist Mohammed Abdul-Wahhab Al-Yazidi, a correspondent for Al-Jumhuriya TV in Aden, based on a similar report from Al-Bahsani on publication charges, before he was later released under media pressure.
