A young man in his twenties was injured by the explosion of a mine left by the terrorist Houthi militia in Hodeidah Governorate (western Yemen).

The Yemeni Mine Observatory said that a civilian in his 20s named Ibrahim Shawqi was seriously injured on Monday by a Houthi mine explosion in the area ( Kilo 16) east of the city of Hodeidah .

He added that the incident caused the victim's left foot to be amputated, and he was injured by shrapnel in various parts of his body.

Hodeidah Governorate is one of the Yemeni governorates most contaminated with mines planted by the terrorist Houthi militia, and their incidents have caused the death and injury of hundreds of civilians in recent years.
