A civilian was killed by a landmine explosion left by the terrorist Houthi militia in Al Bayda Governorate (central Yemen).

The security media of the Ministry of Interior said on Friday that a citizen named (Salem Al-Abd Ali Al-Sayqal - 41 years old) was killed by the explosion of a mine planted by the terrorist Houthi militia in the village of Al-Bahj, in the Al-Zaher district, in Al-Bayda governorate.

He added that the incident occurred while the victim was herding sheep in an area near his residence and claimed his life instantly.

Al Bayda Governorate is one of the Yemeni governorates most contaminated with mines planted by the terrorist Houthi militia, and its incidents have caused the death and injury of thousands over the past years.
