A fire broke out in oil tank No. 38 in the port of Hodeidah

Today, Saturday, an oil tank exploded in the port of Hodeidah (western Yemen), a week after the port was subjected to Israeli aggression.

Local sources said that tank No. 38 (oil) in the oil facilities in the port of Hodeidah exploded this morning and flames rose from it, two days after the fires resulting from last Saturday’s attack were extinguished.

Last Saturday, the Israeli occupation army bombed the port of Hodeidah, the Ras Kutheeb power station, and diesel fuel tanks in the coastal city.

The bombing caused major damage to the port and the burning of most of the fuel tanks, inside which the fire continued to burn for five days, before the Houthi militia authorities announced that it had been extinguished at a later time.
