A complex Qassam operation in Rafah leaves an Israeli force dead and wounded

The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced today, Sunday, that it killed and wounded Israeli soldiers in a complex operation in the city of Rafah, while the Israeli bombing caused martyrs in Gaza City and the Nuseirat and Jabalia camps.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said - in a statement via the Telegram application - that the complex operation began by targeting a military bulldozer with a 105 Al-Yassin shell in the Al-Janina neighborhood, east of Rafah.

She added that immediately after the arrival of an Israeli rescue force, an armored personnel carrier with a number of soldiers next to it was targeted with a 105 Al-Yassin shell, resulting in their deaths and injuries near the Ibad Al-Rahman Mosque in the Al-Junaina neighborhood.

This operation comes days after the Israeli army claimed that it had managed to eliminate a Hamas battalion and destroy most of the tunnels in the Rafah area, which it invaded last May.

It also comes amid ongoing resistance operations in other areas, including the south of Gaza City, and around the Netzarim axis in the middle of the Strip, where attacks on the occupation forces entrenched there are frequent.

Martyrs in Nusayrat and Jabalia

In the developments of the ongoing aggression on Gaza for the 345th day, medical sources told Al Jazeera that 12 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that three people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli raid on a house near Abu Sarar roundabout in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The correspondent added that the martyrs and wounded arrived at Al-Awda Hospital in the camp, and that the wounded in critical condition were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

Later today, Palestinians were injured when Israeli boats shelled a displaced persons' tent in Nuseirat.

Simultaneously with the bombing from the air and sea, Israeli vehicles opened fire north of the camp, according to what was reported by Al-Aqsa TV.

In the past few weeks, the occupation forces have repeatedly targeted the Nuseirat camp, resulting in several massacres.

In the middle of the Gaza Strip, the occupation artillery targeted Al-Maghazi camp, coinciding with the launching of live fire marches on the camp.

In the northern Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that one person was killed and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces targeted a family home in the vicinity of Al-Yaman Al-Saeed Hospital in Jabalia camp at dawn today.

Civil defense teams worked for some time to extract victims from under the rubble of the targeted building.

The targeting of Jabalia camp again comes in conjunction with the occupation forces intensifying air and artillery bombardment on several areas in the northern Gaza Strip.

Earlier, Israeli shelling targeted Beit Hanoun, killing two people.

Fire belts

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 5 people were killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted Palestinians on Salah al-Din Street in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

Two Palestinians were killed and others were injured when the occupation targeted a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City.

Earlier today, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on areas in the Sabra neighborhood in the south of the city, and Al-Aqsa TV said that the raids resulted in the destruction of homes.

The Zeitoun and Tal al-Hawa neighborhoods are also being subjected to continuous artillery shelling, according to Palestinian sources. The southern outskirts of Gaza City, especially the Zeitoun neighborhood, are witnessing an Israeli incursion that began 3 weeks ago.

Yesterday, neighborhoods in Gaza City were subjected to Israeli raids, one of which resulted in the deaths of 10 people in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city.

In the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinians were injured today in an Israeli raid on the coastal Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah, while the city itself was subjected to aerial and artillery bombardment.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the occupation army blew up residential buildings in the Tel al-Sultan neighbourhood, west of Rafah, early today.

In Khan Yunis, local sources reported that two Palestinians were injured as a result of artillery shelling that targeted the town of Khuza'a, east of the city.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today that the occupation committed 3 massacres, resulting in 24 martyrs and 57 wounded people arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours.

Thus, the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7th has risen to 41,206 martyrs and 95,337 wounded, while authorities in the Strip estimate that more than 10,000 others have been martyred and their bodies are still under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
