The Yemeni government announced, on Tuesday, the completion of the installation of a meteorological station at Al-Mokha International Airport in Taiz Governorate, southwest of the country.
The Yemeni News Agency "Saba" reported that a technical team from the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology completed the installation and programming of a new meteorological station of the type ( Campbell Scientific ) at Al Mokha International Airport in Taiz Governorate.
She explained that the installation of the meteorological station at Mokha Airport by the technical team at the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology comes as part of the Authority's efforts to complete the installation of technical equipment at the airport.
The technical team tasked with installing the meteorological station at Mokha Airport stressed the keenness of the Civil Aviation Authority leadership to provide accurate climate information for air traffic at all airports in the liberated governorates, as well as for other parties concerned with weather and climate conditions.
