Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, kidnapped in the Transitional Council prisons
Today, Monday, the Jaadna tribes, with the support of the Abyan tribes, set up armed points on main roads to demand the disclosure of the fate of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, who has been forcibly disappeared in the prisons of the Transitional Council since last June.
The spokesman for the case of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, "Muqbil Ali Al-Jaadani", told "Yemeni Youth Net" that the Al-Jaadani tribes, with the support of the Abyan tribes, set up checkpoints on two main roads in the Mudiyah and Shaqra directorates, in order to demand the disclosure of the fate of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal.
Al-Jaadani explained that the points were set up on the main road in the Lahmar area in Mudiyah District, linking Abyan and Shabwa, in addition to other points on the coastal line in Shaqrah District.
He added that the checkpoints did not intercept any passersby or trucks loaded with food supplies, indicating that their aim was to target military vehicles and anything related to the Arab coalition.
This is the first escalation of its kind in the case of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, who was kidnapped in June 2024 from the Al-Taqnia area in Aden by the so-called counter-terrorism forces affiliated with the Transitional Council, and his fate remains unknown to this day.
