The Palestinian resistance continued its operations against the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, destroying two tanks and an armored personnel carrier and shelling its soldiers in more than one area, while the occupation committed 3 new massacres that claimed the lives of 39 martyrs and injured 123 within 24 hours.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it targeted an Israeli troop carrier with a tandem missile, near Al-Amin Mosque, east of Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that it had bombarded - in cooperation with the Omar Al-Qassem Brigades - the Israeli forces in the southeast of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in Gaza City, with mortar shells.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also broadcasted images of its fighters targeting a Merkava tank in the vicinity of the Al-Khazindar area, northwest of Gaza City.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - announced that its fighters had destroyed a Merkava tank by detonating a highly explosive "Thaqib" bomb near Abu Rashid Pool, in the middle of Jabalia camp.

The Brigades also announced that they had shelled with mortar shells a position of occupation soldiers on the supply line in the "Netzarim" axis, in the central Gaza Strip.

In contrast, the Israeli occupation army acknowledged that two soldiers were injured on the Gaza front and a third on the Lebanon front during the last 24 hours.

The death toll is rising

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 43,508 martyrs and 102,684 wounded.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 39 martyrs and 123 wounded people arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours.

The ministry explained that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, where ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

Earlier today, Friday, the United Nations Human Rights Office revealed that about 70% of the martyrs as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip were children and women.

The report explained that "killings of civilians and violations of international law often amount to war crimes, and that committing these violations as part of a widespread or systematic attack against the civilian population, in implementation of a state or organizational policy, may constitute crimes against humanity."

With full American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
