Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army committed a new massacre against displaced people in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded, while the Ministry of Health announced that the death toll had risen to 41,084 since October 7.

The government media office in Gaza reported that 14 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Jaouni School, which is run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and houses displaced people in the Nuseirat camp.

The office said in a statement that the Israeli army committed "a brutal and horrific massacre in the Nuseirat camp, where it bombed the UNRWA-affiliated Al-Jaouni School with fighter jets, where more than 5,000 displaced people are present."

He added: "This new massacre claimed the lives of 14 martyrs, including employees of the International Relief Agency," in addition to a number of other injuries.

The office pointed out that this massacre is "the 47th committed by the occupation during the war of genocide in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which is currently inhabited by more than a quarter of a million people from the camp's residents and those displaced to it."

He stated that "since the beginning of the war of extermination, the occupation has bombed more than 18 schools and displacement and shelter centers inside the Nuseirat refugee camp." The office condemned "the occupation's commission of this new massacre and the ongoing massacres against civilians, children and women."

He called on all countries of the world to "condemn these ongoing crimes against the displaced and against civilians." For his part, the spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, told Al Jazeera that the occupation bombed the school without prior warning for the fifth time since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza.

For his part, the spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, told Al Jazeera that the occupation bombed the school without prior warning for the fifth time since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza.

Basal added that a number of displaced people are still under the rubble of Al-Jaouni School and he expected the number of victims of the massacre to rise, as a number of the injured are in critical condition, noting that the targeted school houses more than 5,000 displaced people.

For its part, the Israeli army admitted to bombing the school and claimed that it targeted a Hamas leadership complex in Nuseirat.

The Nuseirat camp witnessed several massacres, one of which occurred during a military operation to recover Israeli prisoners last June.

The Nuseirat massacre comes after the massacre committed by the occupation forces in Mawasi Khan Yunis, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded.

The Israeli army has targeted dozens of UNRWA schools in the Gaza Strip since the start of the aggression on October 7.

Meanwhile, medical sources told Al Jazeera that 32 Palestinians were killed in ongoing Israeli raids on central and southern Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Hours before the Al-Jaouni School massacre, 4 people were killed in shelling of the Nuseirat camp and the Al-Maghraqa area in the central Gaza Strip.

In the southern Gaza Strip, 11 people were killed and others were injured in the bombing of the Al-Qarra family home in Khuza'a, Khan Yunis. A child was also killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing of the Qizan Al-Najjar area, southeast of the city.

Four Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah. In Gaza City, Israeli aircraft bombed the vicinity of the Ain Jalut School in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood.

Earlier today, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that "the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 41,084 martyrs and 95,029 injuries since October 7."

She stressed that "the Israeli occupation committed 4 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, 64 martyrs and 104 injuries arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours," explaining that "a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them."
