Early Monday morning, the Israeli occupation launched a series of air and ground attacks in continuation of the war of extermination against the Palestinians, destroying residential areas in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a house in the Al-Tawbah Mosque area in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip, which led to a number of injuries.

Explosions were heard across Gaza City, as a result of intensive raids by Israeli warplanes.

Israeli artillery also shelled several houses in Jabalia camp, amid reports of additional injuries among Palestinian citizens.

The occupation aircraft also launched a raid on the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, targeting populated areas, while the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the middle of the Strip witnessed violent artillery shelling, which resulted in the injury of a number of citizens and residents in these areas.

Destruction of houses in Jabalia

Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces destroyed all homes and infrastructure in Block 2 area in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation forces renewed their demolition of homes in the western areas of Jabalia camp, as well as in the Saftawi and Tuwam areas in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to eyewitnesses, the occupation forces blew up several residential buildings in the Saftawi area, displacing many families.

For her part, the media officer at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Enas Hamdan, said that Israel had rejected an urgent request submitted by the agency to evacuate those trapped under the rubble as a result of the genocide committed by Tel Aviv in the northern Gaza Strip.

"The tightening of the blockade on Jabalia and northern Gaza is making the situation even more catastrophic," the UN official said. "Moreover, the military offensive in northern Gaza is cutting people off from access to essentials for their survival, including water."

Yesterday, the occupation forces targeted two schools in Jabalia camp that were sheltering displaced people, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of a number of citizens. Since October 7, 2023, the occupation forces have continued their intensive aggression on the Strip, using all means of air, sea and land.

According to the Ministry of Health, the death toll has risen to 42,603, while the number of wounded has exceeded 99,795, most of whom are women and children. Rescue teams are still working to retrieve thousands of missing people who are believed to still be under the rubble.
