For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said that six people were killed and 43 others were injured in an Israeli raid on the Nabatieh municipality building in southern Lebanon. The Nabatieh governorate said that the raid targeted the municipality building, resulting in casualties, including the mayor.

Israeli warplanes launched more than 80 raids on the city of Nabatieh and several towns in its vicinity. The occupation forces also launched raids on towns in southern Lebanon, and shelled the town of Aita al-Shaab with artillery.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said on Wednesday that Israel will not stop fighting against the Lebanese Hezbollah, and that any negotiations on the matter will be held "under fire."

A statement from Galant's office quoted him as telling troops near the border that the fighting would continue until Israel "safely returns its citizens to their homes" near the Lebanese border, saying, "We will only negotiate under fire. I said this on the first day, I said it in Gaza and I say it here."

The statement added that the Israeli Defense Minister said that "Hezbollah is in great distress," while Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Galant conducted an assessment of the situation in the 146th Division today, referring to the statement of Naim Qassem, the Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, regarding the call to stop the fighting in Gaza and linking it to a ceasefire towards Israel.

Qassem also said - in his third speech since the assassination of the party's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah - that the party is still strong despite the severe blows it has suffered, and has regained its field health and capabilities, stressing that the party decided about a week ago to implement a "new equation" that will continue, which is "hurting the enemy."

He also sent a message to the Israeli home front, stressing that the solution is a ceasefire, adding, "I say to the Israelis, do not believe what your officials announce, and look at your dead in the war."

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced this evening that 2,367 people were killed and 11,088 injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

It is noteworthy that since September 23, Israel has expanded the scope of its war and air strikes to include most areas of Lebanon, including the capital Beirut, and has also begun a "limited" ground invasion in the south of the country.
