The position of the Arab peoples towards Gaza is very weak, and certainly weaker than the position of the shameful official Arab regime. The reasons for this weakness go back to the certain defeat that the Arab peoples suffered in 2011 when they sought with tremendous force at the time to build a democratic Arab regime that would unleash the energies of their peoples towards the future with strength and dignity, through the democratic system.

Beyond the current rebuke and glorification, current events and the multi-dimensional wars unleashed by the “Al-Aqsa Flood” raise the need for a comprehensive reassessment of what we should call the new or renewed Eastern Question from its roots.
