Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh to discuss developments in the war in Gaza and Lebanon

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with full American support, has been waging a "genocidal" war on Gaza, resulting in more than 146,000 Palestinian deaths and injuries, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

In Lebanon, since September 23, Israel has been waging an aggression that is “the most violent and extensive” since the beginning of the confrontations with Hezbollah more than a year ago, resulting in 3,189 deaths and 14,078 injuries, including a large number of children and women, in addition to about 1.4 million displaced people, according to Anadolu Agency’s monitoring of official Lebanese data until Saturday evening.
