The Israeli occupation army is on alert in anticipation of a "strong" Iranian response that may come from 3 countries

The Israeli Walla website reported on Monday that the Israeli occupation army has raised its state of alert and readiness for an expected strong Iranian response, indicating that the air force is in a state of high readiness, as Iran, according to statements by its officials, continues to respond to the Israeli strikes that targeted it on October 26.

According to the website, "the army is conducting daily assessments of the situation in preparation for the expected attack, and the air force is at high readiness with a focus on the control system and the air defense system." The website adds, quoting Israeli army officials, that there is no information about an exact date for the Iranian response, and that the available information indicates that Iranian officials are still studying the methods and strength of the response.

The website confirmed that the Israeli occupation army "does not rule out the possibility of an Iranian response from Syria, Yemen and Iraq, and not necessarily from Iran directly. The security services also do not rule out the possibility that Iran will attempt to assassinate senior Israeli officials in Israel or abroad."

The American website Axios reported in a report published last Thursday that the occupation intelligence believes that Iran will likely launch attacks on Israel from Iraqi territory in the coming days, using a large number of drones and ballistic missiles.

This comes amid successive Iranian threats to launch an attack on Israel in response to its recent attacks on Iran. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei confirmed in his weekly press conference on Monday that the response to the Israeli aggression on Iranian territory is “coming, inevitable and firm,” adding that Iran is using “all its material and moral capabilities to respond to the Zionist entity’s attacks and defend its national security and sovereignty.”

Regarding the possibility of an Iranian response from the Iraqi territories, Baghaei said, “Supporting the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries is a constant principle for us, and we have practically proven our commitment to that,” noting that “the models of response to the Zionist entity’s attacks are clear,” referring to the two previous attacks carried out by Iran on Israel.

The United States announced on Friday the deployment of new military capabilities to the region, in a move it said was "in defense of Israel" and to warn Iran, according to a statement issued by the Pentagon. These new military capabilities include ballistic missile defenses, fighter jets, B-52 bombers and other types of military aircraft.

The administration of US President Joe Biden had warned Iran, in a message sent to it via Switzerland, against launching another attack on Israel, telling it that it would not be able to restrain the Israelis if Tehran attacked Tel Aviv, as reported by the Axios website on Saturday.
