The Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party commented on the announcement of the National Bloc of Political Components, which was announced today in the temporary capital, Aden, with the participation of 21 political parties and components, considering this bloc a “step in the right direction.”

This was stated by the official spokesman for Islah, Deputy Head of the Media Department, Adnan Al-Adini, in a tweet on the “X” platform.

Al-Adini said, "The Yemeni political reality has proven a dire need for some time - not just today - to unify efforts and energies towards the goal that our people aspire to; and their desired goal of restoring the kidnapped state."

He pointed out that the political path will inevitably lead to a solution to the problems; and in the worst case scenario, it will not be a problem in itself, as is the case with other options, stressing that the Yemeni political parties and other active forces and components are still capable of producing ideas for a solution.

He stressed that the consensus witnessed in the city of Aden today is a step in the right direction, adding, "In addition to being a response to the need of the moment, it is also a solution, or at the very least a major key to the solution that has been sought for a long time."

Today, Tuesday, the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components was announced in the temporary capital, Aden, with the participation of 21 parties and components, most notably the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party, the General People's Congress, and the Yemeni Socialist Party.

According to the announcement statement, the General People's Congress was chosen to lead the bloc in its first session, where Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher was appointed as Chairman of the Supreme Council of the bloc, and the organizational regulations were approved, which will constitute, along with the announcement statement, the founding documents of the new bloc.

The UAE-backed Transitional Council announced a boycott of this new political entity.
