Meteorology expects scattered rain in a number of governorates in the coming hours

The National Center of Meteorology expected, on Tuesday, scattered rains in a number of Yemeni governorates during the next 24 hours.

The center said in its daily bulletin that it expects rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, in parts of (Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, and the Tihama highlands).

It is also expected that parts of the governorates of (Sana'a, Dhamar, Al Dhale'e, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa) will witness light to moderate rain, with the possibility of fog and water mist forming on the highlands of (Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Al Mahwit, Hajjah).

He added that the weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, relatively cold during the night and early morning, and partly cloudy to cloudy during the day in the highlands, while he expected that the eastern Gulf of Aden, the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab would witness moderate winds.

In desert areas, the Meteorological Department expects clear weather that tends to be relatively cold during the night and early morning, clear to partly cloudy during the day, and moderate winds that are sometimes active, causing dust and sand to rise.
