Yemenia Airways
The official spokesman for Yemenia Airways, Hatem Al-Shaabi, denied what was circulated by some websites that all flights via the company had been cancelled.
Al-Shaabi confirmed that the national carrier of the Republic of Yemen is operating according to an operational schedule for its flights, which is authorized by the competent authorities in the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the coalition, and that flights are ongoing from all operating stations and there is no need to worry.
He said: "As everyone knows, in rare cases where a flight or another is modified for any reason, the relevant authorities in the company contact the passengers to give them the new date, and this is possible and expected to happen in all companies around the world."
The official spokesman added that "Yemeni Airlines is currently operating under difficult circumstances, but the company's leadership has been able to overcome them and continues to overcome all the difficulties it faces in service of all the people of the country from Al Mahrah to Saada."
The Houthi group also denied that flights had stopped via Sana'a International Airport, which is under its control, confirming that flights would continue without interruption.
Houthi media quoted a so-called navigational source in the Sana'a Airlines, who denied what is being circulated about suspending flights via the airlines, and that they continue to provide their flights on a daily basis to Jordan.
