The terrorist Houthi militia resumed shelling populated villages in the coastal Al-Haymah area, south of Al-Hodeidah Governorate (western Yemen), a few days after a similar attack that resulted in the death and injury of a girl and a woman.

The local authority media in Al Hudaydah Governorate said that the Houthi militia targeted, yesterday, Monday, with mortar shells, various villages in the coastal Al-Haymah, which is administratively affiliated with the At Tuhayta Directorate.

Official media quoted local sources as confirming that 10 projectiles fell on populated villages, causing great panic in the area, which is crowded with local residents and displaced persons camps.

The incident comes four days after a similar bombing that resulted in the death of a girl and the injury of a woman in one of the region’s villages, as part of the ongoing Houthi crimes against civilians in the Red Sea coastal area.
