The United Nations Mission to support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) said on Tuesday that it had recorded the deaths of 14 civilians in “10” incidents related to explosive materials in Hodeidah Governorate during the past month of August.

UNMHA said in a brief statement posted on the X platform that among the civilian victims were two boys who were seriously injured.

He pointed out that a number of civilian victims fell as a result of mines and remnants of the terrorist Houthi militia during the month of August in Al Hudaydah Governorate.

It is noteworthy that in July 2024, the United Nations Mission to support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) recorded one incident related to explosive materials, which resulted in 3 civilian casualties, including one woman who was injured.

"Yemeni Youth Net" had monitored the killing and injury of about 55 civilians as a result of Houthi mine and explosive incidents in Al Hudaydah Governorate (western Yemen), during the first seven months of this year.
