The terrorist Houthi militia announced, at dawn on Monday, a series of new raids targeting the governorates of Amran and Saada (northern Yemen), a day after similar raids in three governorates under its control.
The militia's media reported that seven (American-British) raids targeted Harf Sufyan District in Amran Governorate, in conjunction with two raids on Al-Rahba area in Al-Safra District in Saada Governorate, without further details.
The raids announced by the militia come about 24 hours after 10 similar raids that targeted militia sites in the capital, Sana'a, and Amran.
The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced on Sunday that its fighter jets had launched several airstrikes on Saturday night on advanced weapons storage facilities belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen.
The weapons were used to attack military and civilian ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, a US defense official said, according to Agence France-Presse.
Since the beginning of this year, the United States of America has been launching air strikes targeting the Houthi military capabilities, in response to the attacks launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on cargo ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, which it says are in support of Gaza, which has been subjected to an Israeli war of extermination since the beginning of October 2023.
