Ibb.. A student was injured while participating in a military course for the Houthi militia in one of Al-Sayani’s schools

A student was shot while participating in a military training course organized by the Houthi militia in a school in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen).

Educational sources said that the student (Adi Muhammad Saeed Qasim Al-Tawil - 14 years old) was shot in the hand while the militia was training students inside one of the classes of the Muadh bin Jabal complex in the Al-Sayani district, south of Ibb.

The sources explained that a gunshot was fired during the training, hitting the ceiling of the classroom and rebounding to hit the student, who was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The sources indicated that the students' guardians and the school's parents' council condemned the incident and demanded that any military activities in schools be stopped, holding the Houthi militia responsible for the lives of their children.

It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia, for about a year, has been holding military and sectarian courses for university and school students, as part of what it calls general mobilization, as part of its destructive plans for the educational process in the areas under its control.
