IOM: 40 Yemeni families displaced during the past week

The International Organization for Migration announced the displacement of 40 Yemeni families during the past week, bringing the number of displaced people throughout the country since the beginning of this year to 2,319 displaced families.
The organization said in its weekly report issued yesterday, Sunday, that its displacement tracking matrix tracked the displacement of 40 Yemeni families, representing (240 individuals), during the period from August 25 to 31.
She explained that the displacement cases originated from Hodeidah, Taiz and Al Mahwit and settled in Marib (26 families), Hodeidah (9 families) and Taiz (5 families).
She pointed out that the total number of displaced persons throughout the country rose during the period from January 1 to August 31, 2024, to 2,319 families representing (13,914 individuals).
